Too late - a few days after I got it I was taking a night shot on a
slope, and a gust of wind toppled the (lightweight) tripod. The camera
fell forward and landed lens first. Luckily it was soft sandy soil.
The lens body has a few scratches on the front but apart from that it
survived just fine. So did the camera, thankfully... not a scratch in
sight.
The ironic thing is that the supplier had no UV filter in stock when I
purchased the lens. It arrived the day after my mishap!!

I apologize first if this is the wrong place for posting.
I have a used Canon 300D digital SLR for sale.
This camera was bought in Japan in Dec. 2003, so this is the Japanese
version, "Kiss Digital" and comes with the 18-55mm EF-S USM lens -
Ultrasonic Motor, quiter and faster auto focusing. The camera body is made
in Japan, different to the Australian version of the 300D, which are made in
other countries.
,with 18-55mm non USM version lens.
I take good care of my cameram so it is in excellent cosmetic condition,
with just a couple of scratches on the under-side of the body, and where the
body attachs to the tripod. The lens is clean, as it always had a UV
protector filter on it.
The camera is in full working condition, with a firmware upgrade that allows
you to use custome functions similar to 10D. (this can be reverted back to
the original 300D firmware for the buyer). I have been rather busy since I
bought this camera, it has only taken about 1000 shots, considered as very
low usage for a SLR camera!
It will come with all the original standard accessories - battery, battery
charger, strap, USB and AV cables. It will also come with a 256MB CF card.

IS0 100-1600 (3200 with the 10D firmware)

I am selling because I just don't have much time to use this camera anymore.
I am looking for a price of around $850 (with lens and 52X speed Ridata
256MB CF card) or just the camera body, email me with your offers. Camera
